About the Training Track
The Photography Track is a practical professional program designed to build a strong foundation in the art and techniques of photography, with a focus on using photography as a tool for documentation, visual communication, and content creation, particularly in the fields of tourism, culture, and heritage. The track also prepares learners to market and sell their digital photographs on international platforms, enabling them to generate financial returns and establish a sustainable source of income.
The track focuses on taking learners from the stage of taking photographs spontaneously to thinking like professional photographers. Learners develop the ability to read a scene, select the appropriate shooting angle, work with light, create strong visual compositions, control camera settings, and choose the appropriate photographic style for each type of subject.
The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical instruction. Learners are introduced to the fundamentals of cameras and lenses, white balance, composition and lighting principles, and the Rule of Thirds, along with practical applications of these concepts in photographing people, places, architecture, monuments, and cultural elements. The program also covers the fundamentals of marketing, developing and editing photographic outputs, and promoting and selling photographs through digital stock photography platforms.
The track also introduces the fundamentals of digital image processing and editing, including how to select and prepare photographs for digital publication or professional use.
