• Holds a Ph.D. in Ancient Egyptian Civilisation from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels – Helwan University, Tour Guiding Department (French section).
• Certified expert with UNESCO in the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
• Worked as Director for the General administration for the Preservation of Cairo Heritage at Cairo Governorate for a decade.
• Worked as a consultant and expert in community engagement for cultural heritage projects with several international organizations such as UNESCO and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
• Practiced the profession of tour guiding for over 15 years.
• Taught at several Egyptian and private universities and has numerous internationally published research papers and publications.
• Participated in the supervision and discussion of several academic theses (Master's and Ph.D.) at Helwan University and Brandenburg University in Germany.
