- Member of the Archaeological Sites Management Committee and the Department Council of Islamic Archaeology at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University.

- Has (13) published research papers in the field of Islamic archaeology and (4) published academic books.

- Has supervised and participated in the examination of numerous master's and doctoral theses at Egyptian universities.
