- Promoted to Associate Professor in 2019, and then to Full Professor in 2024 in the field of Islamic Archaeology, with a specialization in Islamic Architecture, at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University.
- Faculty member at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, and a seconded lecturer at various Egyptian universities.
- Certified trainer for tour guides at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (2014–2024).
- Executive Director of the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University.
- Permanent member of the Department of Islamic Archaeology and the Graduate Studies and Research Committee at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University
- Has published 21 academic research papers in the field of Islamic archaeology and 5 scientific books.
- Supervisor and examiner of numerous M.A. and Ph.D. theses at Egyptian universities.
